Pride
Like an eagle flying in the sky
I could not give up my sense of pride.
Losing my own sight in the blue
In the intensity I saw it through.
Looking down it seemed so clear
It was only myself I had to fear.
I knew deep down what I must do
Through the darkness I saw the truth.
A lesson learned as the eagle flew
Live,live a life so true.
Now for better things I'll strive
Forget my pride, and be alive.
