Priceless

Happiness is not for sale
Or found in any book
What brought a smile not long ago
Will soon be overlooked

A diamond ring and fancy car
And all material things
Can't take the place of an I love you
And you're my every dream

What truly remains priceless
Is what you cannot hold
It's the feelings in anothers heart
The key to which you own

Purchased are the band aids
We buy to hide the pain
Of living with the question why
Did things turn out this way

So stop spending all you have
On what you hope to find
The answers lie within yourself
And the heart whose ties you bind

Nicely done, "priceless is what you cannot hold" ~ good one.
