Price and Success

The price we pay
As the sun, each day
Arise to take its tribute
And the rain beating us relief,
Is the success of a young leaf.
With a force within so brute.

Found help, which is no help
The stinking feeling of a scalp
When the tough is a Goliath.
Relieved at the tether of hope
Falling short to cope
Strengthened by a divine faith.

We seek greener pastures
Better and secured futures
For the born and the unborn
We to labour for them enjoy
The price, the pain, is our joy
For a priceless success horn.
