Prey and Predator

You are running for your life trying to stay alive
You don't know how long you'll be able to survive
Nervousness runs through your heart and mind
Your existence served its purpose but now you're out of time
I know you're probably thinking life is unfair
Because now your spirit is full of despair
The predator wants to rip and claw at your flesh
Leaving behind a graphic mess
His hunger has endless determination
You escaping will be tremendous frustration
His speed increases with every leap
You're the meal that'll put both of you to sleep
Sudden bravery overcomes you and you stop to attack
Until you notice a mysterious figure behind the predator's back;
What is that creature that walks on two
It doesn't resemble the predator or you
I'm at the top of the food chain with unfathomable dominion;
This is a proven fact not a pompous opinion
Hunting the predator that hunts the prey
That's double the food for the day
The predator notices my appearance
He knows I will be a inconvenient interference
Worried for his life he now runs away
Now the predator has become the prey
Mr. Predator never believe that you're superior and there's nothing to fear
I am your oppressor your inferior here!

Wow LaJoya, what a great rhyme. At the beginning things were looking grim, and was relieved at the awesome solution...Great last two lines, too!
