Pretty Ugly

Pretty ugly I know sometimes the wounds heal up and you carry on I know deep down when the words are right and sometimes wrong But I really know how two people can love each other so very strong It’s given me a heart broken and I think I’m damn near torn I have lived to see the sun rise and fall - all on my own You never did apologise for the words that you said were always sworn You never realised how much you meant to me and now we have grown I prayed to Jesus when my mind was so confused then my mind had gone I hope your happy now in whatever you do but don’t ever pretend you love someone when there’s none.
