Pretty Lady

This is an ode to my aunt Vernette the greatest aunt that you could get she knows how to dance, she knows how to cook and she gets the guys with just one look she was raised in the woods by an old mama lion ain't nobody gonna make her walk the line If you ask for help, she can Git "er Done whatever you need you know she's the one she can bite the head off a rattlesnake and make Chuck Norris start to shake Vernette don't have to bait her hook she can lure 'em in with just one look the children call her the angel of the mail 'cause she sends them goodies without fail "Happy Mail" comes for all ages even those who earn their wages she don't go for drinking much but she loves frogs and toads and such She's a Florida cracker who moved away but in my heart she'll always stay she's the "pretty Lady" who's always there with poetry and love to share.
