Pretty
What does the word Pretty conjure up
Is it a field of buttercup
It could be sitting by a spring
Listening to some bluebirds sing
Lounging in a chair with ease
Enjoying a cool summer breeze
Or finding a secluded nook
A comfortable spot to read a book
Pretty girl passes by in a dress of lace
Happiness shines from her sweet and smiling face
Pretty also means to me
Fine china and fondants for tea
There are lots of pretty things
Like gossamer and fairy wings
I have much more I could say
I must go now
Fly away
