Pressure
Pressure
There is a pressure, often felt
rising up from within it seems
It makes one feel highly compelled,
to often try to fulfill a dream
That dream that died, long ago
that dream that you had betrayed
But deep down inside, for better or worse,
that dream remains, you've only delayed
That crushing pressure, you'll soon realize
is because you'll die alone and that's ok.
Because soon you'll see
Not everyone gets their happy ending,
not all dreams are meant to be.
