Present, here

Regret is to feel sad, repentant, disappointed over something that has already happened, especially a loss or missed opportunity. See Regret is just another way for the darkness to cloud your future days. How can you be present while living in regret in these current hours, with moments already spent. Inevitably taking seconds in your future and present. We can never truly be free if our guilt becomes bigger than our faith in something more than you and me. See, we were made to live where our feet are with faith that our path ahead is brighter than darkened past days. Living with the shame of our should haves, would have, blame blame, blame. It doesn’t push us forward into a position of gain. It only takes more moments and so on the cycle of disbelief and insanity replay. We can want all day, but only one can give us what we need. We just must be future present and not past regret existing. I once read a line in a book that breathed hope back into my life. It said that regret is the biggest serial killer alive. Yeah, allow that to marinate in your mind. It just takes, and you lose years until one day you wake up and you’re 89 wishing for so much but living in regret with guilt from years behind. Stolen time, you could have been happy if only you lived in the present looking forward to a future with opportunities of plenty and present with faith. Love rewrites history as I heard a wise man say, "So live your prophetic present future without dwelling on failures of yesterday."
