Premiums of My Life

premium of my life
my little me's
are running around
my temples pound
out a steady beat
a beat with their feet
the tumble down life
the rumble on their tummy
they look up to mommy
for food and fun
my heart they have won
before they were born
premium of my life
they gave me my gray hairs
they are rushing it there
and here and there
and everywhere
please slow down
oops! too late now
they are all grown
running around
with a new crowd
being loud
with their little me's
the premium premiums of my life.
