Prelude

prelude to my kiss

that I wished you missed

so hesitant our eyes could wept

but so warming was a our lasting breath

you seem to linger on my stare

as if asking: " Could we dare?"

and I smile, as saying why if not...

you've become my happy thought

soon as your hands touched mine

our body heat has mingled fine

and eyes close as we stitch nearer

our lips feel static as we become clearer

slowly stopping our life's cycle

so we can finally-

prelude to my kiss
