Prehistoric Man

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
....And the creature stood in silent refrain, dazed
Gazing from the mountain side through the solemn trees
A tear rolling down their cheek, their innocent heart
Not knowing why the bent upon crowd, gathered its fury
Bleeding from the wound inflicted while terror struck
Notes amid desperate eyes lost in a state of confusion
And as much a baby as any other life yet, welcome to the world
This valley of the shadow of sorrow, hate and death....
