Predestination's Discrimination

So I hear the blessed children have a place in Heaven's kingdom, where they sing and dance in union. God, He gave His only Son. For in life a few are chosen - break the bread, the Baker's dozen; stick my head inside the oven, for I fear that I'm not one.

Wow! I like this one a lot. Interesting rhyming scheme. Meter is spot on as well. Is "Descrimination" an intentional misspelling or a portmanteau of some kind?

I figured the last line would say, "I'm glad that I'm not one" lol. Is this new? I don't remember this one at all. Different from your usual style, but no less impressive or enjoyable. Made me think of Sylvia Plath in the 7th line. Great work, as always.
