Praying For Dawn

The sky is dark, The sun is sleeping. The ocean is quiet, And my eyes are weeping. Do you know, What happens at night? I think of you; The light of my life. Then I submerge myself in a sea of blankets, Where imagine you beside me sleeping, And I remember the sound of your breathing. If only you could see me. All I can do now is pray for dawn, But I doubt it will ever come.
