Prayers

It is not the words of our prayers that move God but the sincerity of our feelings, when we pray!

If God hears our words would he not know our sincerity? Is it not more important that our needs coincide with his plans for us and that we need to simply ask him to show us the way of his implementation? If our needs are not in his plan we should be expecting a course correction soon. Yout words are beautiful Demetrios, I'm just musing...

What a lovely visit! Thank you dear Charlie! It is very gracious from your part! Now, about your comment: As you very well know, language is an audible and visual representation of reality that is used to translate our feelings and experiences in general. Language, therefore, is not the real thing but an imitation of realty! Having established that, God doesn't need to "hear" any translations because He knows what we are going to say, thus trying to "impress" God with pompous words is futile for God knows the true feelings of Man who prays! God already has shown us the way but most of us find it hard to follow! Thank you again!
