Prayer In Grief

I grieve in solemn cries
I grieve for victims of so many lies
I grieve for loss of life, the ill and injured
Praying for the wounds of our country to be cured
I grieve for friend’s suffering around me
I grieve for the truth that people cannot see
I grieve for what evil has done and doing
And all of the hatred that is spewing
God help us, forgive us, heal and save us somehow
We are falling, hurting and we need you now!
