Prayer Gives God Permission
“6Yet, LORD my God, give attention to your servant’s prayer and his plea for mercy. Hear the cry and the prayer that your servant is praying in your presence." 2 Chron 6:9 NIV
Prayer Gives God Permission
To work in our lives.
He doesn’t control us
And never deprives.
He wants to be our Healer,
Or give us what we need.
But He requires prayer;
His assistance to be agreed.
Prayer Gives God Permission
To lead us in the right way;
Surrender each morning;
Walk through His open archway.
If we take the lead,
God cannot show us how;
We get to take the glory,
And pretend to be highbrow.
Prayer Gives God Permission
To release our spiritual gifts
Transform our mind—
A paradigm shift that facelifts.
We get in touch with the genius
Of God’s internal DNA,
To accomplish more than imagined,
And give God glory on the way.
Prayer Gives God Permission
To pardon our wrongs.
To send angels to protect us;
Arrive on earth in throngs.
Without prayer conversations
With God and God alone,
We fail to receive eternity;
Our destined immortality disown.
