Prayer For Divination

How grand the sky which holds and shelters me and fine the kiss of sun can be. So sweet the forest full of scented pine. Oh Love, Your caring we divine. Surrounded by abundant fertile sea, the mountain air so clean and free. All praise the magnificent forms refined. Oh Love, Your caring we divine. We pray Thy beauty affect devotees to unite all humanity. And that all hate and fear will soon decline Oh Love, Your caring we’d divine.

Yes, I like better when patterns are used, like in this one, The repeating of that last line, like in a kyrielle or rondeau. It's interesting how sometimes you like my stuff better than usual and sometimes I like something of yours better than usual and I think it has to do with my leaning toward lyrical poetry and you leaning toward free verse! Oh, I just LOVED Salem's Lot!! GOOD and SCARY!

Awesome Deb, I love it. The first Kyrielle form I've viewed. Such a wholesomeness in the last stanza, toward unity of humanity. The Agape is all that will unite in a moral way. Agape, Moses
