God
Yesterday, I came to you
And I know that you were there..
But God, yesterday has come and gone
And I'm back for another prayer.

I will never lose faith in you,
as I know you wont in me-
But God, he's suffered for five years
Why won't you set him free?

God
Yesterday I came to you
broken by disbelief
with a simple prayer to heal him
or bring a little relief

And I'm sorry for being angry with you
It just hurts to see him fight...
But God, I know you're there..
& it will always be alright.

God
Tonight please hold him
Let him feel your loves embrace
if only for tonight
Because in your arms, he's safe.
