Praise Thee Lord
O' that my heart shall ever praise Thee, LORD.
For Thou uphold creation by Thy Word.
Thy power is displayed, in all, throughout.
The holy angels sing. The heavens shout.
May Thy blessed Name be glorified.
May Thy sovereign will be magnified.
May all Thy children worship Thee for grace.
May they gaze upon Thy shining face.
There in Thy presence for eternal days,
Basking in the glow Thy Light displays.
All the sheep brought in to Jesus' fold,
Refined and glistening as the purest gold,
Shall then know Him as even they are known,
While drinking in the Water from the Stone.
Filled with joy and peace from up above,
God's family embrace in sweetest love.
O' that my heart shall ever praise Thee, LORD.
My soul, in debt, can only praise afford.
Therefore I give my love to Thee, my God.
For twas Thy love, to me, that Jesus trod
As lowly man amid this world, in grief.
Because I am a liar and a thief.
For twas Thy love that shed His precious blood,
That evil might be overcome by good.
