Praise the Favorite

Please, bring your light to me.
Please, I cannot see.
I am just a child,
And I need you here for me.
Why am I alone now?
You promised me your love,
You said I was a gift to you,
From your God above.
Yet, I'm now abandoned,
I am shamed by you and yours,
I'm broken in every way,
But you choose to shut your doors.
Do my tears and pain mean nothing?
Is this the joy He promised?
Turning mother against daughter,
Yes, praise your precious psalmist.
