Power In the Blood
The storms of life tries to shake the soul,
but the Power in the Blood takes control.
Power in the Blood is a covering for you.
It stills the thunder, sends calm through.
Though the passing clouds be gloomy, dark.
The Son is always shining in the heart.
Power in the Blood's, rainbows of love,
has Mercy with wings, flying free as a dove.
Power in the Blood that flowed from His veins,
carried a way all sins of many names.
His pure Blood turned the darkness into light.
He cleansed the hearts and made them white.
Power in the Blood flows free,
Jesus Christ
paid the cost for you, for me.
