Power and Fame

Power and fame requires discipline No such thing as a lawless hero or heroine The scope of celebration is the scope of condemnation You cannot sway a nation to refute your apprehension Once you are caught defying the norms For you'll be in convict's uniform May God help us in the day of applause For it's then that the devil unleashes his clause Feeding you with the facade that you're above board That sin is premium life that many can't afford That repentance is needless if you can pay your way out And that piety is for those who can't throw their weight about Hear the saying echoing through time's hall That the bigger they are, the harder they fall It is a witnessing that left very few exceptions Drawing a large count of victims in its processions A marching band playing and stomping into destruction Will you be in the smaller or larger faction? It is in greatness that one ought be most conscious It is in convenience that ought be cautious Some roam to free and become jailbirds Having traversed outside all virtuous girds But those that take it as a divine gift Keep on the trajectory of lift K. Muitherero.
