Poverty

POVERTY.
Behold, we all own
Ink and leaf,
Translate all your leafs.
Progress is knowledge,
Dedication elevation.
Poverty remits
Illiteracy, stagnation and
Shame.
What then do I print
On my leaf?
I beg for rain to wet
My grains
So I can gain.
I am sure my Creator
Would make me elevate.
                                                                                                             AKEWUSOLA HABIB.
