Potpourri

Each day as I awaken,
Potpourri's on my mind;
Those moments we shared as one,
Together, our hearts entwined

The years bred forth an eerie change,
Our spirits grew further apart;
Those sweet memories of potpourri,
Won't mend a broken heart

Interesting way to address the subject of lost love. I like the idea of potpourri to forward your thoughts. Keep on writing. Have a wonderful weekend. Karen
