Post Haste

As of now, I got no mate
Working toward my own place
Another tragedy
Another casualty
Becoming a cold case
Zero evidence they could locate
Something sentimental
Something special
Stashed in a gold vase
People continuing to show hate
As a nation
A lot of saturation
Too much is so fake
OH great
All these tricks
Always got to watch my six
Keep an eye out for those snakes
Had to turn things around and rotate
Didn't always help to go straight
People always oath break
Once again I ended up in fo'th place (fourth)
Got to try harder
Think smarter
To get farther
On the ground
Up in the clouds
Problems all around
Like snowflakes
Here one minute, then gone
The cyles goes on and on
Leaving no trace
In order to improve things
No time for mood swings
For my own sake
Got to never give up
Ready to get past any hiccup
Even if I get no break
Making sacrifices, standing tall
Giving my all
So much I donate
Getting it done post haste
It was high quality or low grade
Each had a different growth rate

Always drunk and so baked
For a long time I had no bank
No faith
Giving no thanks
It all was taking no shape

It's all starting to carry no weight
Bank account needs to be so caked

Still they disobey
It's all okay
You don't have to go away
My hairs starting to grow gray

Playing on my So-nay (Sony)
Got to put it down
So I can drown
In the mo-nay (money)
Girl I need you to blow-may (blow me)
Can't be caught up on what folks say
Don't fret you'll have yo' day
From here to way past San Jose

Life is bonkers and coconuts
Hit the mark or wasn't close enough
Stayed together or broken up
Did or did not involve a Toyota Truck
It was a stroke of luck
Or the jokes on us


Still too poor
Got to do more
Always getting through storms
Changing the new norm
Working on my true form

Use to give no f***s
In and out of ruts
Downs and ups
Took guts
Aww shucks
Not worth the headache or fuss
Stack up the bucks or bust
What the f***
Knuckle up
Buckle up
With or without a double cup
It's no game like chuck-a-luck

Looking for my buttercup
Meanwhile another cover up

There's been no change
It's all so strange
Woah dang
It ain't no game
Or pathetic like road rage
Better use yo' brain
I should've known mane
Didn't always require a code name
Stay alert or you could get took out by a rogue wave
