Possession
The tale of romance
Tells how we remain entranced
Stubbornly, steadfast
Seeking some resolve
We remain and are losing
Sight of our own souls
History compels us
To remain in muted tones
Fragile pages tear
White gloves are needed
To handle the parchment
Pages of our lives
We cannot see where
To imagine a new place
So, we keep breathing
The facts and figures
Confound our realities
We should be grateful
We have each other
Our ways are so familiar
We know how to be
