Portrait of a Broken Dream

You painted the picture of who I should of been The canvas began so white, so clean Your vison was something you alone could see A portrait of fidelity How now do I return from such disgrace God knows i'm in a lonely place I know the route of lies without a map Trusting in you, the faith I lacked Yet I love you I need you Take the brush and cover over the imperfections Belive this love can be ressurected You cover both your beautiful eyes Turn away from the me I so despise Thats why I love you Why I need you Take the paint and begin a new This time I vow, I will believe it too.
