Poor You, Poor Me

My happiness got stolen away
The day you left
I stayed by the window
Praying you'll come back
No luck your gone
Poor me

I've waited for you for days
Days turned into weeks
Weeks into months
Months into years
No luck your gone
Poor me

Now I'm 16 and you ready
To come back
After all these years
You want me back
Well I'm tired of you playing
I'm in, I'm out
So no I can't take you back
Poor you

Now your thinking to yourself
“What did I do to deserve this hate?
How did I end up with this fate?”
I'll tell you:
Your never in my life for more
Than a week
When parenting gets tough you
Get weak and leave
Poor me

So now I'm left without a
Father
You without a daughter
Your love you snatched away
What's worse is you stole mine away
The day you left me
Poor you, Poor me

I still find myself myself waiting
By the window some days
Poor me
