Poor Lonely Me

Woke this morning to a lonely bed
Rolled over and scratched a lonely head
Went to the beach to watch a lonely sea
Instead a lonely sea watched a poor lonely me
Tried to walk down a quiet street
And it rained on poor lonely me
Dipped my sorrow in ice cream
That only made me hate being me
Stood on a bridge and waited for glee
Instead depression shadowed me
So i closed my eyes and went for the leap
Hoping this jump would set me FREE!!

it won't. it'll just make it worse. cry the river. then build the bridge. after that, just get over it! don't spend life having a pity party for yourself. ------Ell
