Pondering Paige

A poem to a man aired briefly on the Skype cam
Ignore the fliss and the flam
If you were here I would hold your sweaty hand
Untill I could hear the words you breath
Now relax a minute or two in your seat

There are so many things I have to share
A million miles or so since we have been there
A lot of memories for my mind to see
I awoke from a cold state of dreaming you was around
It was just a bunch of old memories that I had found

It was you there asking me if I could even make any sound
It was simple at that time I was surrounded by a dark gloomy cloud
I had simply shut the whole world out
And for that fact I slowly made myself a bet
That if our time I never wept
If our company never slept
I would hold this cold brew for you

Wandering thoughts on the wings of memories, held onto to heartstrings...for better or worse. This was quite nice to read. Well done!
