Pondering On a Rooftop

Her hose were not keeping her warm on this roof But in one second her dreams had gone up in a poof The only comfort was the stray cat who showed up in black Sitting beside her, as if he had her back. She thought this time was going to be different than the others. The guy whom she had chosen, was a friend of one of her brothers. As she had watched him walk away with her friend that day, She knew it was going to take time for the pain to go away. She had been at play practice every afternoon for a couple of weeks. She had asked Susan and Sammy to come by and take a couple of peeks. She had thrown them together by asking them to spend time together. Now she was suffering from misery, not caused by only the weather.
