Polka Dotted Lady's Blind Date

Green polka dotted lady was elegant and provocatively pretty
Many gave her a glance, as if she was charming and witty
She sat in a booth waiting for her thirty-second blind date.
The weasel, the coward, was half a minute late

He came breezing in, all dressed out in orange and pink.
What do you think? He wondered. What do you think?
The conversation was all about him – every single word.
The fact that she had three legs seemed a little absurd.
