Politicians Everywhere

Well my friend, with your back to the wall
Unlike me who do you have to call
When you lie with the snakes in the grass
Times will change, but you won't see them pass

'Cos you're maybe, too long in the tooth
Far away from the essence of truth
To the world, just a little uncouth
And your armour, a new monkey suit

When you feel like you've given it all
Does trust even matter, at all
Don't trip on your conscience, in haste
Does licking your own ass, leave a taste
