Political Chiaroscuro
I hear canaries crying, marginalized black birds
In zones of pain
I want therapy to bring wings more than words
The people pray but need a king to march again
If you are silent
You concede the betrayal like a devil in your vein
Wait, wait, the urgency's deterrent argument
That fences cherry trees
And leave minds in caverns of impoverishment
No plan for us, no time table, the visions freeze
At home, in peace
But grow for Afghanistan the vampire's to please
For as long as markets are needed wars will not cease
Poverty persists
As zones of pain inhabited by an invisible disease
Where is the program
