Poker Game

I played a game of poker, Thinking I held all the cards. I thought I truely had her, Neverminding the visible scars. I played being sure of a victory, Never realizing I would hit a wall. Now all is lost, all history. I now sit in tears, but I once walked tall. I played a game of poker, Never realizing the game would play me. Now I long to hold her, Yet mine she will never again be.
