Poison innocence;
Innocent poison let it flow
Poison innocence how deep does this rabbit hole go?
They say I write angst quite well…
That's an easy thing when you've touched the gates of hell...after all, doomed to romance and ill fated love sure do sell.
Lay me down on a bed of thorns...where are all the roses?
When I pull away, draw me closer…
Entwined, remind me
Satiate my restless soul.
Wrap yourself around my twists and turns,fill the crevices,keep me whole.
Abandon sanity, open the portal, take the lead
Rip out my ice cold heart, return it to life, this i plead.
Maybe I've forgotten,maybe I'm lost
Maybe I'm hopeless and reckless at any cost.
The dark side glitters as its siren calls
This is the place where devils dance and the angel falls.
Broken, tattered, shattered, torn
Rise again, take on a different form.
Phoenix rises through pain
Isn't sunshine supposed to follow the torrents of rain?
Shards of glass pierce my fingers as I hold onto the past.
Poison ire..love cannot last.
In desolation and isolation beauty will die
Transform, reborn, hearts heal, tears dry.
Follow me into this tortured web
Keep me, love me as waves flow and ebb.
Innocent poison, let it flow
Poison innocence, show me how deep this rabbit hole will go.
