Poison

Slowly, it soaked to my vein
Soothingly, it spreads through my blood
Softly, it shivers down my spine
Scarcely, it stroke to my heart.

Furiously, I struggled out my way
Fearfully yet, I had not a chance
Faithlessly, I dropped to the floor
Full of pain as I tasted my wound.
---
For no one could know, how fast it came,
And no one could see my dreadful pain.
I do doubt my life is saved.
‘Cause my stupidity was insane.

A single drop, ended the day…
One small sip, good farewell
Darkness left behind, no illusions
The miraculous gift - a flask of poison.
