Poisen Cheer

Poisen cheer
Was a dear
With a heavy talk
And a cheery walk
Making a flutter in my gutter
And a stutter in every mutter
Opening doors
In empty floors
Showing those
Who were foes
Laughter in places that we’d meet
Wondering if it’s me you seek
Smiling at promises
We couldn’t keep
Making it hard to forget
We ever met
