Point of View

My hearts throbbing pumped from adrenaline
Ready to rumble like a Vietnam veteran
Protect my loved ones I'd take a bullet like a vest
Life's like a mere dream based on fake reality
Leaving me stuck on my knees in a sea of complications
Emotions ticking like a time bomb
Any minute ready to blow
Slowly losing breath trying to say what's next
Can't say it how I want to my tongue's tangled in two
Thoughts unraveling in search for truth
I felt alone 'till I was with you
Just another lost soul looking for a point of view
My mind's shattered in two
Paint a perfect picture and put it back together representing you
Feel the vibrations, mind's racing, facing my intuition
Trying to succeed in this life I was given
But it's all feeling like a slave mission
Never looking back to my past
Too much evil in my rearview
I'm screaming to God but everyone knows he can't hear you...

Take a compass. Don't rely on everyone, poet. He is not deaf.
