Point Counterpoint

Thank You for the sunshine
Thank You for the rain.
Thank You for the counterpoint
The heart throb and the pain

Welcome in the darkness,
the Mother’s warm wet womb.
Welcome in the darkness night;
the cold comfort of the tomb.

Understand the precious gift,
of fire in the dark.
Understand the restful relief,
of darkness in the spark.

Don’t rage against the dieing light
or damn the daily dark.
Just remember, we will ever bloom
with Life’s never ending spark.
