Poetry Plain & Simple

Poetry is plain and simple
It comes from the Poet's heart

From inside the soul unfurled is
Where poetry gets its start

A deep voice with a melancholy tone
Consistent verse made into song

Poetry sings the words of distress
Other times it sings words of success 

Know that when all words are said and
The completeness of their passions won

When sleepers sleep and yet still dream
The Poets work is done
