Poetry People

I cannot sleep, I take a peek,
at other poems, by other poets.

I am in awe at the way they draw
amazing images with written word.

Beyond my scope, I one day hope
to conduct my words as they do.

As I read I hope to feed
my immature imagination.

The support I get leaves no regret
at joining this terrific troop

My vocabulary is so limited in comparison to many here, like a language I cannot speak. It's my heart that does the talking mostly and it has been damaged. Maybe that's why.
