Poetry Land
when im here i can be whatever i want to be, from a little girl being pushed on the swings by
her dad or a woman making love on the sandy beach.
here i can let go of all my fears and just be. here i am free to be me, the me i shield from
the world because im afraid of what they would think.
here there is no limit to what i can say, words just flow out of my mouth like the water in a
busy stream.
here the lights are all on me and im the biggest star, millions of fans and all their attention is
on me.
here i can be as angry as i want to be or just as sweet as a humming bird.
here is the place i call poetry land!
