Poetry Is a One Night Stand

poetry is a one night
stand
a few minutes
stand
you meet her on the
street
while waiting in a
cafe
in a crowded bar you just dont know when
she descends on you spread her wings
no expectations
i am in this crowded bar now
on the stool
red wine
cabernet
why dont we understand life
she walks in high heeled clad
in red parks on the other side delicately
war is a crime
have to be brief here
characters you know
and space F
i am captivated
she flashes her white teeth
the' cheeks"matched her dress
i am intoxicated
singular encounter no expectations
she winks carelessly
i buy her a drink apple martini
walks across sit close
perfume
extramarital without disturbance
bartender worried puzzled
when i ask for paper and pen
he throws few tissues
we drink a few
her leg rests on mine exploring
we amalgamate into a toungey kiss
i am possessed now
in a frenzy you know
no attachments or carried emotions
for tomorrow
we forget forever till someone brings
it up again
personal growth and fulfillment
empowered
poetry is a one night stand
that is a one liner
