Poetry is a connection, between imagery and thought
Creations of the mind, free flowing words, battles well fought
Passion shown through meters, rhythm or rhyme
Written or spoken expression, displayed by design
Unusual perspectives from individual points of view
From the novice to the accomplished, and ingenious crew
