Poetry In the Dark

Scribbling during flashes
Waiting for the light
Anticipating the questions
Trying to make it right

You want to know my process
And what I mean to say
I’d rather not reveal this
My shining in the gray

Illuminated shadows
I’ll tell you what I see
As for my sordid process
That’s best left up to me
