Poetry from the heart
Doesn’t always have to rhyme
It can come into your mind
In any place, at any time
Sometimes when on the verge of sleeping
Or when travelling on a bus
Poems form inside my mind
Words that express true feelings of us
Poetry can tell of love
For a father or a mother
They can tell of sibling rivalry
Between a sister or a brother
Words on paper can express so much
About love and life and lots of things
They can tell of family and friends
And of the joys that true love brings
This poetry came from my heart
And the words were formed in rhyme
Poetry can come into my mind
In any place, at any time
