Theres is a freedom in writing poetry
A freedom to share of matters of the heart
To be honest and open without judgement
For me anonymity plays its part

I find it easier and therapeutic at times
To write my feelings on a screen
Post and share it with strangers
Without being known or seen

Face to face and in the flesh
Is not always what l want or need
By penning thoughts into poetry
Without judgement, safeness is guaranteed
