Poetry

I'm broken.
They tell me I'm not good enough.
That I'll never be who I wanna be.
But, I know I'll come around you see.
Poetry helps me to be who I really am.
Shows everyone I'm different
in my own special way.
It helps me reveal all my thoughts
and feelings,
without being afraid.
It lets everyone see
the beauty I made.
Helps me believe in myself,
when no one else believes in me.
That's why I love to write poetry.

Once again, story of my life! lol You've got great talent, and you're definately not the only one who can see that. Anyone reading your words would be dumb not to recognize it. Don't ever lose faith and don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't or that you're not good enough. By writing your poetry, you've already proved them wrong. Peace n Blessings! ~Oreo

Keep writing. You'll never be broken so long as you can communicate, and there are some fine people communcating on the soup. I'm curious...what about D'nae? I've never seen it before. Is it Scotch? I'm daver and I love to commucicate. D.

Wow, this is so sad, I am glad you found your passion, never let anyone ever put you down and make you feel inferior, you are somebody! I started writing when I was very young, My way to escape hurt, pain, loneliness and sadness, it helps to express what you are feeling inside. I write when I'm sad, happy, angry, lonely, mourning, no matter how I'm feeling, poetry has helped me, This was a lovely poem, Keep writing and stay strong..*Tyesha
